I met a wealthy woman today, Dressed to impress; Her lips were ruby, her eyes so blue, Rousing testosterone to eternal unrest.
Her every desire was a swipe away, Vanity drapes from her dress; Presence like a goddess, love so true, Blessing her subjects with nothing but the best.
Alas, behind her smile lies unseen decay, The most painful, unsettling illness; Her smile may be sweeter than honeydew, But the coldest chill lies beneath her breast.
More glorious than a bright summer's day, She may seem this way, yes; But the sun now sets on me and you, A knife now buried in her chest.
***Moral: Wealth doesn't equal happiness. You never know the tragedies of a person's heart/personal life until they either confess it or commit suicide.***

How true. How v-e-r-y true. Just because it looks pretty on the outside, doesn't mean it's pretty on the inside. Pain can look beautiful. Unfortunately, people fail to realize that and choose to "skim" over "observe". Oh, and they use "time" as an excuse to justify their selfish, carnal behavior. That's one of the reasons why we lose so many good people --- ignorance and bull****.
And for anyone who has something bad to say about this: just grab a gun, shoot yourself and f***ing die! The world's better off without you.

*snaps fingers like at a coffee shop poetry reading* That was really rad. A good moral to know of as well, Wealth doesn't equal happiness and money doesn't buy love. I believe happiness is something you find from inside and around you with others. Spread the joy and you'll have a wealth of happiness. I love the imagery you give us in the first stanza, you could see what the woman looks like. The second stanza was good, it shows the "picture perfect" life this person lives. But the third hit home, you see the dark pain that she has. Last one is sad, she's gone because she couldn't find true happiness.

Exactly, dear. You're spot on there. Sadly, happiness is only attained by a small percentage of individuals. A large portion of the said percentage conforms to alternatives, and the latter portion is comprised of the unfortunate. The ones who never achieve anything. Even if you have all the money in the world, you can still feel like a failure/unwanted inside. Unloved. Undesirable. Insignificant. My heart goes out to all the unfortunate and unaccomplished <3
